Leo van Zanten, Head Breeder, Manager R&D Department Leo holds an MSc degree in Plant Breeding from Wageningen University, the Netherlands, with a minor in Tropical Agriculture and Development Economics. He started working as a visiting scientist in plant breeding at the International Agricultural Institute CIAT in Columbia in 1984 and continued in the agricultural field as an Assistant R&D Manager in West Africa with the UN Organization FAO in 1990.
